Happy Hump Day! I hope your Wednesday is off to a great start. Here in Alabama we had some scary tornado weather last night but I’m happy to report that our area didn’t have any damage. It was just a rough night with very little sleep. It’s a venti coffee kind of day so hopefully I’ll power through with minimal yawning. Fingers crossed!
For today’s post I’m sharing with you one of my favorite dresses that is perfect not only for the holiday season but all throughout the year. When I think of Christmas time, I often think of vibrant reds and greens. I spotted this beautiful royal blue dress from Asos during their sale a few weeks ago and I immediately though it would be a lovely alternative to the “traditional” holiday colors. I was also inspired by Tara Gibson from Jimmy Choos and Tennis Shoes when I read her post earlier this month featuring a vibrant blue dress from Banana Republic. I love how she paired hers with a blanket scarf and classic pumps. My Asos dress also comes in this gorgeous plum color that is a petite size. I’m only 5’0 and found that the regular (non-petite) version was a good length for me. The bottom of the dress has a see-through lace panel so I wanted to make sure I got a length that was still appropriate for work. The website doesn’t give length details so I’m not sure how much shorter the petite version is. Overall, I am really happy with the regular version I purchased and I think it would still be a great length on petite women.
We all know there’s nothing I love more than a well-placed bow so I paired my dress with these bow pumps from Nine West. These are super comfortable and come in 6 colors! I have worn these to work several times for over 10 hours and they’ve been comfortable all day. I also really love the deep burgundy color and the beige suede.
My Chanel bag is old but I linked a similar Tory Burch style below. Keep scrolling for more outfit details!
