I’ve been absent for the past few days because I haven’t been feeling too well this week. First I thought I had a head cold but most recently my symptoms have been more like a low grade stomach virus. On top of all that, I’ve been having issues with my webhost so I’ve had to manually fix some things behind the scenes. Anyway, I’m trying to get back in the swing of things today. I’m hoping a restful weekend will make me feel better. Fingers crossed!
Today’s post features two of my favorite things: blush pink and lace. I spotted this dreamy lace dress at Nordstrom last month and instantly fell in love with the color, the silhouette, and of course those bell sleeves. The best part is that this $78 dress is now 55% off and just $35! At such a great price, you could get both colors 🙂
This dress has a super flattering fit and a great length. The website says the size small is 32″ inches long. I ordered the size large and mine is 33.5″ inches long. The fit is what I call a “relaxed true-to-size”. I probably could have worn the medium but I’m glad I went with the large for the little bit of extra length. If you’re not sure which size will be your best fit, I recommend using the Fit Predictor on the Nordstrom Rack website. This has never steered me wrong as long as I enter my size and measurements correctly.
The blush pink is a pretty rose color and can easily be dressed up with some nude pumps and statement jewelry. If you opt for the other color, just note that the website calls it “white” but it’s really more an ivory cream color.
