My Favorite Planners for 2018

One of my favorite things about a new year is the chance to start fresh. What better way to do this than with a brand new planner? For today’s post, I’ve rounded up my favorite planners for 2018.

Day Designer
Daily/Monthly Version in Black Spotty

This flagship Day Designer is a great option for someone who needs plenty of space to plan each day down to the hour. There is a full page for each day with sections for hourly planning, to-do list, daily gratitude, dinner, and notes.

This planner also comes with goal-setting worksheets along with a yearly overview for long-term planning. There are two-page monthly spreads for each month in 2018.

I think my favorite thing about this planner is the durability and size. When I used the planner last year, it held up well being carried around every day in my tote bag.

It also has the prettiest gold foil tabs for each month. There are several beautiful patterns so there’s sure to be something for everyone!

Day Designer for Blue Sky
Weekly Vertical Layout
$15 – $40

If you love the Day Designer but don’t want to spend $60+, you will love the Day Designer for Blue Sky collection. Blue Sky has long been creating some beautiful planners in a variety of styles and all at reasonable price points. For 2017, I used the Gold Spotty Dots weekly/monthly planner and I think it is my favorite planner I have ever used. I prefer to plan by the week rather than by the day. The weekly vertical layout allows me to plan each day by the hour and also have plenty of space for notes, to-do list, etc.

 

There is also a daily version if you need more detailed planning for each day. This one is $40 so almost $20 less than the flagship Day Designer. Another plus to this line is that you can pick it up at your local Target to save on shipping!

This is the planner I will be using for 2018. I chose the white Swiss dot pattern because I love the elegant simplicity. I also love the two-page weekly spread with days on the left side and a section for notes and to-do list on the right side. I will let you know how I like this one once I start using it for 2018.

Rifle Paper Company has some of the prettiest patterns I’ve ever seen on a planner. I really love the coral hardcover agenda because it reminds me of a personal diary. If you love hardcover but still prefer spiral, these 17-month agendas are a perfect choice. These run July 2017 through December 2018. If I were to purchase this planner now, I would use the July-Dec 17 pages for notes, recipes, addresses, etc. so as not to waste the extra pages.
