There are only six weeks left of summer but that is plenty of time to get a lot of wear out of your favorite summer dresses. Here in Alabama summer temps are usually in the high 90s so I like to stock up on lightweight dresses that are cool and also office appropriate. This fun color block dress is only $20 and it is so comfortable! I seriously get so many compliments each time I wear this dress. The colors are fun, the fit is flattering, and the best part is that it has pockets! Who doesn’t love a dress with pockets? 🙂

This dress is a loose fit so you can probably size down. I followed the measurement guide on the SheIn.com product page and the size small was a perfect fit. You can hover over the size to view shoulder, bust, length, and sleeve measurements.

I styled this dress with a blush pink bag to complement the pink color block. I also really love this blush pink cross body bag which is a great Chloe dupe!

  1. Absolutely love this look.. Surprising that it was only for $20. Is there an elastic built into the waist ? Also is the material jersey like or tshirt cotton, because I am wondering if it keeps it form after the first wash.

    • Hi Cocoa! There is no elastic in the waist. The shape is more of a shift style and it has an oversized fit. The material is polyester so it does retain shape after washing. Polyester is prone to wrinkle through so I do not put this dress in the dryer. I just hang it up to dry. I hope this helps 🙂

  2. I LOVE colorblocking and this dress is super cute! Perfect for spring/summer. As you said, it’s definitely office appropriate which is super cool!

  3. I was just eyeing this dress on your Instagram! It’s so darn cute on you! I love the quirky colorblock style and the fact that it has pockets (I mean, MAJOR win!) What a fun and affordable find!

  4. Oh don’t count down to fall, that makes me so depressed, haha. Just kidding, let’s enjoy summer as long as we can and what better way to do that than in that beautiful color block dress with the quirky and fun details! 🙂

  5. ah, you cannot go wrong with a lovely pair of nude heeled sandals! I lov how you styled the dress and I love the muted pink purse! You sure look chic and polished! Gorgeous!

  6. I love your outfit, the dress is very pretty and definitely has the summer colors on it. I like that it’s a bit loose, that way you can wear it even on a very hot day without getting too warm.
