Hot Pink for Fall

Free People Ottoman Slouchy Tunic: Available at Free People // Available at Nordstrom // Available at Revolve  //
Leggings: Francesca’s // Boots: Louboutin Praguoise (2016)  // Handbag: Kate Spade Hayden

Hot pink is generally thought of as a Summer color but I am loving this vibrant hue for Fall. This slouchy tunic from Free People comes in six colors and is such a great closet staple. At a higher price point of $148, I wanted to make sure I would get a lot of wear from this piece. It is a heavy knit ribbed sweater with a slouchy fit and a structred mock neck. It is also made with 2% spandex to add a comfortably stretchy quality to the sweater.

size and fit
This is really more of a tunic than an “oversized sweater” so it runs quite large. I am actually wearing an extra small because I wanted this to fit like a slouchy sweater rather than a tunic or dress. If you want an even looser fit or if you want extra length, then I would go with your regular size. Definitely size down if you prefer an oversized sweater fit. Feel free to email or comment if you have any other specific questions about sizing!

I chose to style this tunic as a sweater but you could wear it as a dress if you are under 5’3 and size up to add length. The bold pink really stands on its own so I went with all black accessories. I added the pink tassel to my handbag just to tie everything together. for We all know I really love jewel tones so I’m thinking about splurging on this sweater in the jade color as well. What are your favorite colors to wear for Fall?

  1. I’ve been seriously diggin’ bright colors for fall and winter. Who says black is the only option once the weather cools down? I recently got myself a vibrant pink sweater and I love it. This one is SO cute and looks super cozy. And you styled it brilliantly. So chic!

  2. I would definitely style this as a dress. I’m a 4’11” shorty pants, so definitely would be easier to style as a dress for me lol

  3. I love how they’ve lately been making sweaters in brighter colors. I’m certainly not one who believes certain colors are for certain seasons. I have a hot pink sweater too!
